BASALT MUNICIPAL ELECTION IS MAIL-IN BALLOT ONLY



The Town of Basalt’s municipal election is mail-in ballot only and the deadline to receive ballots is Tuesday, April 2 at 7.p.m.  Ballots can be returned via mail or dropped in the secure ballot box behind Town Hall on Midland Spur.  To register to vote, change, or update voter information visit www.govotecolorado.com.

 

Basalt voters are electing one mayor and three Town Council members.  Voters should know that Courtney Sheeley Wycoff is no longer running but her name is still on the ballot. Any votes made for Courtney Sheeley Wycoff will not be counted.

On February 27 The Basalt Town Council Approved Resolution No. 38, Series of 2023, Approving of the Jadwin/Black Mountain Sketch Plan PUD Application and Associated Development Review Actions to develop sixty-four (64) dwelling units, twelve (12) short-term rental cabins on the Jadwin Property (Property) at 431 Emma Road.

The latest version of the site plan includes 64 units, 50% of which are deed-restricted
